PASSING CLOUD Vol 2 Jan 2026 #1

A speculative piece, surrealist in form, documenting a dialogue between xhi Ndubisi, Josephine Manby and the concept of a sentient Artificial Intelligence.

Night falls, the clouds are noctilucent, the flock of swifts exchanges for a cauldron of bats. This winter is black, a magician holds the stage. Outside the window of our craft/studio/office/nursery, the Hadean eon roars into place. Inside, we begin the process of dying, shutting systems down one space at a time, saying goodbye, expressing gratitude, making space for what is to come.
